I know Kelly and Dana because Kelly used to work with my wife at Talbots HQ, so I was super excited when they asked me to film their big day.

Kelly was getting ready at her parents house and Dana at his and Kelly's house right down the street.  This was a super convenient setup for me and I was able to start with the girls, go to the guys and come back to the girls in time for the dress.  It allowed for a good variety of getting ready footage.

moreThe ceremony was also down the street from their house at St. Christine's.  It was a wide church with plenty of room on the wings for me to set up a 2nd camera facing Dana and Kelly.  In church weddings it's always great to be able to set up the 2nd angle from the other side of the altar to allow for more shots of the couples faces, since that's the direction they are facing most of the time.  Kelly arrived via trolley, she got there early which was great and I was able to get some shots of her in the trolly and her dad greeting her before heading into the church.

After the ceremony we made a quick pit stop at Dana's office.  While most people wouldn't want to stop at work on their wedding day, Dana is a firefighter and the firehouse made for some really unique shots.  The whole wedding party climbed up on top of a truck for some pictures and the couple got some extras in front of the truck.  It's always awesome to be able to mix in some unique shots that really personalize the video.

Next we headed down to Plymouth for the reception at Whitecliffs.  I had never been there and was blow away with the views when I arrived.  They chose to add on the drone package which was perfect for this venue.  The cocktail hour/dining was held outside, atop a cliff which overlooked the ocean.  Below the cliff was a beach where we took all their photos.

Evan, my drone partner from Drones.Up got some awesome shots of the venue before we arrived and was able to capture some great shots with the wedding party and Kelly and Dana.  One of my favorites was a shot he got of the group walking on the beach that you'll see in the highlight video.  The scenery was unbelievable and Dana and Kelly were so great to work with, it really made our jobs easy.

Kelly's brother gave a really touching speech at the ceremony which provided great content to carry the highlight video.  After dinner we headed inside where their band rocked the rest of the night away and had the whole crew singing along.
