Scott and Colleen booked me back in late 2015, so this one was almost 2 years in the making.  

On the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend Stephen and I headed to Connecticut for Scott and Colleen's big day.  I went to the house Colleen's family rented to film her getting ready and Stephen headed to the guy's house.  Colleen and her family were super welcoming and made this rental house feel like home for us right when we got there.  

After getting her hair done, Colleen sat down and read a note from Scott.  We had Scott do the same with his note from Colleen.  This is always up to the couple, but if they're willing to read these notes out loud it works out great for their videos.  It gives a really personal touch seeing them read these notes to each other.

Colleen then got dressed and did a mini first look with her dad, which was a great moment as he was moved to near tears.  After some pictures with her bridesmaids and parents we headed off to the church.

It was a nice ceremony, the priest knew the couple so he was able to personalize the mass which is always nice.  Having myself and Stephen both manning cameras allowed me to set up a 3rd camera in the balcony to provide a master shot, which always works out well in the edit.

After church we headed to the Waterview where the reception was taking place.  As you might imagine by the name, the venue is right on the water and has some good vantage points to take the photos from.  Both sides had big bridal parties so there was a lot of fun being had during the pictures.

During cocktail hour, I got the detail shots and filmed some interactions while Stephen flew the drone and got some nice shots of the venue and surrounding area.  He also snagged this shot during photos which was a winner.

The father of the bride, best man and maid of honor all did a great job with their speeches which provided for some great content for their highlight video.  The night carried on and during the dancing, the wedding party lined up and the couple ran down through and onto a stage, which was the perfect ending for their video.
